Osadolor made the call as part of efforts by the faction of the PDP associated with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to mobilise young people ahead of future elections.
The PDP youth leadership stressed the importance of greater youth participation in elections, noting that young Nigerians constitute a significant part of the country’s population and therefore have an important role to play in determining the direction of governance.
The mobilisation is aimed at encouraging youths to participate in the electoral process rather than remain on the sidelines. The party leadership believes that increased participation can help strengthen democratic engagement and ensure that citizens' voices are reflected through the ballot box.
The development comes as political activities and preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum across the country.
Political parties and various political groups have increasingly turned their attention to young voters, who are expected to play an important role in the next electoral cycle.
