KADUNA TO REHABILITATE 17 PRIMARY HEALTHCARE CENTRES
Seventeen Primary Healthcare Centres in Kaduna State are to undergo rehabilitation as the state government moves to improve healthcare services at the community level.

‎The rehabilitation programme is aimed at improving the standard and capacity of selected healthcare facilities while expanding access to quality medical services at the primary healthcare level.
‎
‎17 HEALTHCARE CENTRES TARGETED
‎
‎The state government is undertaking the rehabilitation of the 17 PHCs as part of measures to improve healthcare infrastructure.
‎
‎The facilities are expected to be upgraded into Centres of Excellence, giving them improved capacity to provide healthcare services to residents in their respective communities.
‎
‎The initiative forms part of wider efforts by the Kaduna State Government to strengthen the primary healthcare system and improve the delivery of essential health services.
‎
‎FOCUS ON PRIMARY HEALTHCARE
‎
‎Primary healthcare facilities serve as an important point of access to medical services, particularly for residents who depend on facilities within their communities.
‎
‎The rehabilitation programme is therefore expected to improve the condition and functionality of the selected centres while supporting the provision of healthcare closer to residents.
‎
‎The government has also distributed standard healthcare-related materials as part of efforts to support healthcare facilities in the state.
‎
‎IMPROVING HEALTHCARE DELIVERY
‎
‎The rehabilitation of the 17 facilities represents an investment in healthcare infrastructure at the primary level.
‎
‎By upgrading selected PHCs into Centres of Excellence, the state is seeking to strengthen the facilities available to communities and improve the overall delivery of primary healthcare services.
‎
‎The programme comes as Kaduna continues efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure and access to essential medical services across the state.
