The Spanish champions have won all five of their matches across all competitions, scoring 22 goals and conceding just three ahead of their La Liga trip to Levante on Sunday.
Flick said football can change quickly and urged his players to maintain the attitude that has helped them produce such a strong start.
“We are enjoying the situation,” Flick said, while stressing that changing their approach could send the team in the wrong direction.
The German coach wants Barcelona to maintain their intensity and concentration in every match rather than becoming complacent because of their early results.
Barcelona's attacking stars making an impact
Barcelona's attacking players, including Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, have impressed in recent weeks.
The team scored five goals against Feyenoord in the Champions League and also found the net five times against Rayo Vallecano, Valencia and Elche in La Liga.
Flick said Barcelona were happy with the level they were currently playing at but needed to reproduce that performance consistently.
He also highlighted the importance of maintaining a high level of intensity, staying focused and remaining active during matches.
Champions League is the main target
Barcelona's biggest objective this season is to win the Champions League, a competition they last won in 2015.

However, domestic success remains important as well.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta is also targeting a third consecutive La Liga title, which Flick said would be an outstanding achievement.
